As Andrew [Stout] said, there are no shortages of challenges, in addition to finding and affording good land, there is a challenge to find and keep labor,there are tremendous pressures to become as efficient as possible because the margins are so slim and sometimes you can't cover the costs of producing a crop. The challenge to be profitable pushes the system into not being able to pay people what they deserve, not being able to treat the land well with cover crops, and building soil quality or ecosystem diversity. This is why Hi-Tech and industrial agricultural systems become so important.
